Hello, Hannah! How are you, there are more men than we think who transform themselves inside their homes in their privacy, and older too. In your experience, what pushes men to go towards feminine lingerie? I will soon be 75 and I love relaxing in a long nylon nightgown with a pair of nylon panties....I love the feeling on my skin, is it the same for you Hannah...thanks in advance for your answer and have a good end of the day. +++
There's no definitive or universal answer or reason why people like what they like. Why do people like true crime podcasts? Why do people like golf? Why do people like tacos?
No one knows.
And it doesn't matter. We like what we like and there doesn't need to be (and there likely isn't one) a reason for our fondness towards it.
Why does everyone visiting this website love lingerie? It might be how it looks, how it feels, and how it makes us feel.

Since there is no reason that we can all agree on or identify with, perhaps it might be worth considering why we are pushed AWAY from "girl" things.
There's no biological or evolutionary reason men are prohibited from wearing pink or panties or skirts or sky-high stilettos. Of course, not everyone likes to wear sky-high stilettos or other fun things, lol. After all, the wrong shoe (or the wrong anything else) can be uncomfortable. My point is that there's no reason anyone can't wear what they want. "Girl" clothes are amazing. Leggings are a godsend. I believe that if a guy tried sleeping in a nightgown one time, they would wake up in one every single morning.
We as humans wear what we wear for endless reasons. A certain necktie makes us feel confident. A certain eyeshadow brings out our eye color. A t-shirt with our favorite sports team shows off our love for our hometown. A killer black dress makes us feel sexy. There are emotional and psychological connections to what we have in our closets. Why a man likes to wear "girl clothes" can have countless reasons. There is not, and never will be (and again, there doesn't need to be) an universally agreed upon reason why every man who crossdresses does what he does.

Since there's no reason why men can't wear what they want, my question is why DON'T more men crossdress? Why do so many men (as far as we know) deny themselves the softness of "girl" jeans? The comfort of leggings? The freedom that only a skirt can bring?
I believe that more men wear "girl clothes" than they will ever admit. I also believe that more men think about what it would be like to wear a dress than we will ever know.
So, why don't they? After all, girl clothes are cuter, softer, and more comfortable. My anatomy, chromosomes, hormones, doesn't prevent me from being able to wear anything from a corset to nail polish. The reason is that men aren't "supposed" to. Boys wear blue, boys wear pants, and that's the end of that. We are told to wear certain colors and certain items because that's how it's always been. Which is stupid. "Tradition" feels like handcuffs sometimes.
So, wear what you want. There's no real reason not to.
Love, Hannah

Long, Long before I discovered XDress I was an “Underdresser” Not a Crossdresser. I often wore feminine knickers, tights or grip top stockings, sometimes stockings with a belt, bra’s and cami tops during my working day and very often at weekends and evenings as well. Fortunately I had sympathetic female partners who not only lent me garments but often bought them for me too.
So what was the attraction? I have no idea but the attractions, urges if you like were, at the time, very strong and remain so. Perhaps it was the dare, the sense of having a secret which could not be shared, or rarely so. Perhaps it was the feeling of the garments themselves, the press and the tug, the slight discomfort, little restriction of movement. Strangely enough, although it was always there, the sexual aspect remained very low, a poor second place to the overall sensation. There were a few occasions when titillation was tempting – I was careful, cautious to the point of being obsessive and yet when I wore a “Unisex” blouse/shirt or teeshirt the comments were invariably favourable.
Why do I continue underdressing even now? Comfort! Y fronts and Jockeys are Horrible! Also now I am officially retired, though still working, the urges remain so I’ve adopted a more careless attitude.

Couldn’t agree more with your comments Hannah.
I love wearing nighties in bed, pretty panties, beautiful lingerie and enjoy the total freedom of wearing skirts and dresses.
As you say there is absolutely no reason why men shouldn’t enjoy wearing feminine clothing, but so many are probably deterred from doing so more openly by the prejudice of others.
We are hurting no one and it is only the out dated views of others that make it so difficult for some to cross dress without fear of ridicule
