Looking back even five years ago I would never have thought I would be wearing panties regularly, but here we are. It started as curiosity and turned into preference. I think younger men especially are moving away from strict rules about gender and clothing. I also take better care of my skin, I am more open about grooming, and I do not see any of it as conflicting with being a guy. It all just feels normal now. I wish Xdress would bring back some of these styles! Particuarly the satin set in the end.
Why does it matter ‘why’? Whatever answer given, it’s a personal choice that shouldn’t require any further explanation. Needing to give a reason feeds into the general perspective that men shouldn’t want to wear feminine underwear or clothes. A better question would be ‘why not’. I wear panties, as well as other feminine lingerie, and it makes me feel good. That’s as far as I should feel any need to explain it or justify my choices.
I agree that some of the panties I own are comfortable to wear. But, when men who wear panties, like me, claim that it’s comfort that motivates them, or indeed curiosity, I think they’re searching for explanations that avoid the truth. The real reason why I wear panties, and I believe most men who also do so, is because I/they like to crossdress. In my opinion, wearing feminine underwear is an expression of those crossdressing desires, and not for other, more palatable, reasons.
Been wearing panties for years but only in the last year has it been full time. For me it is completely about comfort. Having the support while feeling like nothing is on is great. Trust me, I can put on the jeans and build pretty much anything, change the oil in the vehicle, renovate my house, play hockey, so my masculine energy gets filled up. But slipping into a pretty bra and panty set, and a garter and stockings on date night, or a pretty satin nighty to lounge in, is the best feeling. I have always wondered why we as men could not have the luxury of the finer fabrics, colours, styles that lingerie brings. Such an interesting cultural belief system.
